A criminal lawyer like Mr. Pham can send a request on your behalf to have your fingerprint records and photos destroyed.   This application would be sent to the local police agency where you were charged, including the Regina Police Services or RCMP. If the application is approved, I would contact to inform you that the local police agency and/or Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have destroy the relevant records.

Each police agency has its own procedure and may have its own forms.  That is why it is often more convenient to hire a criminal lawyer like Linh Pham to undertake the process.   He would ask the police agency that took your fingerprints and be aware of the correct legal procedures to be followed in order to successfully destroy your fingerprints, photos or other records (depending on a case by case basis).

If the local police services or RCMP charge a processing fee to have your fingerprint records and photos destroyed, our office will inform you.   These fees are charged by the authorities and not by our office, and is only for processing your application. Your money will not be refunded if they decide not to destroy your records.

To avoid paying the processing fee more than once, wait until you’re eligible to have your records destroyed.  Contact Linh Pham, criminal lawyer at (306) 502-5987 for more details.
